The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, August 5 suggests Summer Newman (Hunter King) will confess the truth to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is out for revenge and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will say yes. Plus, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will put all the blame on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will keep digging.
Y&R spoilers tease Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will tell Amanda her grandfather will use the same arguments she set out for him. “Unless we find substantial evidence I cannot guarantee that we can get the charges reinstated,” he’ll tell her. Later, when Amanda meets with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), her mother will admit she believes Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) is guilty.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Ashtoria Are Now Officially Engaged
In New York, Victoria will think back on Ashland’s proposal. She hasn’t answered him yet. He’ll come in and ask if she’s decided whether to marry him. “I’m not really sure how to react. You caught me off guard.” But she’ll say they’ve already thrown caution to the wind. “In case I wasn’t clear, that’s a yes,” Victoria will say.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will continue questioning Tara. He’ll tell her he wants the truth. She’ll admit that she pressured Summer to leave town but will say it was all Sally’s idea. “I was only fighting for what I knew was best for my son.”
At Crimson Lights, Summer will video call Kyle. She’ll admit it’s been difficult for her to move on. He’ll ask if she was worried he might lose Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). He’ll say it was Jack’s idea, that Tara was using Harrison as leverage. “She warned me that if I said anything she would take Harrison the next day,” Summer will reply. “I’m so sorry for hurting you. I hated lying to you. But I didn’t know what else to do.”

Later, Kyle will storm into the Abbott estate, shouting that Tara ruined his life. Jack will tell him to calm down. Tara will come downstairs and tell him to keep it down. “How could you do this to me?” Kyle will ask angrily. “All the hours you spent consoling me over my breakup when you’re the one who caused it!”
Finally, Summer will call her parents. She’ll tell Phyllis she’s ruining everything. However, Phyllis will say she has no idea how “devious and repulsive” Sally and Tara really are. “It’s true, I was forced to leave town,” Summer will admit. “I was trying to protect Kyle from losing his son.” Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will say the truth coming out is for the best. But Summer will angrily hang up. Then Phyllis will get into Tara’s financials. “That b*tch isn’t getting away with this,” she’ll say to Nick.
